Apply to become a contributor for BBC's 50:50 Project and get featured in BBC content

BBC’s highly impactful 50:50 Project’s New Voices Database allows BBC staff to find women contributors, particularly those from ethnic minority backgrounds to feature via BBC.

🔥 Great news: 50:50 is looking for more contributors (aka looking at YOU👀) to help BBC teams feature more diverse voices and increase women’s representation in their content.

Here’s some added context on what being a contributor could look like: 50:50 supports more than 240 teams across BBC Content—TV, Radio, Children & Education and Sport—to increase women’s representation. The 50:50 Project also will continue to work with broadcasters, newsrooms, BBC’s Popular Music networks, Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 6 Music and Asian Network, among other content teams.

📈What happens after you apply: The 50:50 team will collate the information you have submitted in your application and make it available to BBC production teams.

⏰ Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
