A Love Letter to the Ones Building Boldly
There comes a point when doing it alone
...just doesn’t work anymore.
Not because we aren’t capable, but because building in isolation
starts to feel empty—like something essential is missing.
Dreamers & Doers began with that ache.
What began as a personal need soon became a vision for what’s possible when extraordinary women come together in generosity and truth.
👋🏽 I’m Gesche—founder of Dreamers & Doers.
Once a hedge fund investor. Now a community-builder, mother of two wild little humans, and someone obsessed with creating space for women to live their truths and build bold dreams on their own terms.
Over a decade ago, I left the corporate world to start something of my own.
But instead of freedom, I felt… alone.
My friends and family didn’t understand the
rollercoaster of entrepreneurship.
Even with my experience as an investor and early stage operator, I wasn’t prepared for how lonely, intimidating, and all-consuming it would be to build something from scratch.
Then came one brunch that changed everything.
Just me and one other founder.
Two women craving something deeper—something real.
We worked side-by-side, supported each other,
and shared what was really going on.
That day sparked a feeling we hadn’t experienced anywhere else.
And we knew it couldn’t end there.
So we kept meeting. Quietly. Consistently.
Word began to spread, not fast—but meaningfully.
More women joined—each one impressive, generous, and, like us, deeply yearning for community.
Something truly powerful was taking shape.
We were coming together as women, lifting one another up, and
building a community rooted in wholehearted, unapologetic support.
As more women began reaching out, drawn to the depth of
connection we were cultivating, it became clear:
More women had to experience this kind of support.
But we knew we’d only grow in a way that honored our values.
We weren’t building something for everyone—
we were building something for the right women.
From the start, it was never about growth at all costs.
It was about depth, alignment, and intention—always slow, always steady.
Fast forward over a decade later:
Dreamers & Doers is a trajectory-shifting, values-led (and mostly virtual) curated community and PR Hype Machine™ for extraordinary women entrepreneurs and leaders.
We’re proudly member- and impact-obsessed.
That’s why we created our PR Hype Machine™, alongside our core community offering: giving women entrepreneurs the spotlight they deserve—receiving credibility, trust, and media visibility that shifts perception and opens doors.
The heart has stayed the same.
But the ripple effect has grown.

but what I’m proudest of is how this community feels.
