Dreamers & Doers, a subsidiary of Trailblazer Ventures, LLC ("Company" or "We") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website https://www.dreamersdoers.com/, blog https://www.dreamersdoers.com/blog, Membership Application form, Membership Directory (our or this "Website"), use any other forms we may create to collect information from you for purposes of feedback or content creation, or any other reason, or participate in the Dreamers & Doers Circle community, as well as any other Dreamers & Doers associated Facebook Groups such as Dreamers & Doers Non-Member Groups (collectively the “Websites”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

 

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • On the Websites.

  • In the Member Application form, feedback or information requests (via email, text, the Circle community, or other communication channels) by a direct or indirect (such as brand ambassadors) affiliate of Dreamers & Doers.

  • In Member Referral forms, in direct information requests about you from Dreamers & Doers members.

 

In e-mail, text, Circle messages, and other electronic messages between you and this Website and individuals affiliated with Dreamers & Doers.

 

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by the Company or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), and including specifically from Content you may choose to share post on this Website or the Dreamers & Doers Circle community and Non-Member Facebook Groups; or

  • Any third party (including Dreamers & Doers members, and non-members), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on this Website or the Dreamers & Doers Circle community and Non-Member Groups.

 

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website. By accessing or using this Website, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time.  Your continued use of the Websites after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

 

Age Requirements:

The Websites and Services are intended for use by adults only. By using the Websites, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete that information promptly and, where applicable, terminate the account.

Information We Collect About You and How and Why We Collect It

 

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Website (mainly through our membership application and other feedback or content collection forms), including information:

  • by which you may be personally identified and any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information”); this information includes details such as name, an image of you, e-mail address, social profile links, links to personal and professional websites, interests, how you found out about Dreamers & Doers (including contact details of a referrer), motivation behind joining Dreamers & Doers, expected contributions to the community, indicate your willingness to opt into guidelines; and/or

  • that is about you but individually may not identify you, such as current occupation, geographical location, age; and/or about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website and usage details.

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.

  • Automatically as you navigate through the Website. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses and information collected through cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies.

  • From third parties, including, our business partners and agents.

  • We may also collect information that you may post or otherwise publish on the Dreamers & Doers Circle community. Content shared in the Dreamers & Doers Circle community may be used in external communications such as newsletters, blog posts, or marketing materials to highlight community insights and experiences. Where content is shared in an identifiable way (including quotes attributed to a member or use of photos or headshots), we will seek permission where appropriate. We may also share anonymized or aggregated insights that do not identify individual members. Members may contact us at  privacy@dreamersdoers.com to object to or limit certain uses of their content.

 

Information You Provide to Us. The information we collect on or through our Website may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website, specifically, the Dreamers & Doers Membership application. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Website (applying as a member), posting material (e.g. in the Circle community), or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when we create content for Dreamers & Doers blog or newsletter, or to obtain feedback on either Dreamers & Doers or other members of Dreamers & Doers.

  • We also use information you provide us at the time you apply for membership to create and maintain a “Membership Directory” (https://collective.dreamersdoers.com/c/directory)  of which you may choose to be included. The Membership Directory includes your name, an image of you, social profile links, links to personal and professional websites, current occupation, geographical location, interests, potentially a link to your “introduction” and the Member who referred you.  At your option, you may choose to edit or add additional information to the Membership Directory, including updated or additional links, keywords, an image, interests, career information, name and more.  You can make edits or additions by emailing Dreamers & Doers (membership@dreamersdoers.com).

  • The Membership Directory is a core feature of the Dreamers & Doers community and is available only to active Members. It displays limited profile information relevant to community participation, such as name, role, general location, and links or profile details you choose to provide. Dreamers & Doers implements reasonable safeguards and enforces restrictions on use of the Directory. Members may not copy, scrape, share, or use Directory information for unsolicited marketing or external purposes, and violations may result in enforcement actions in accordance with our Terms of Use. You may request removal from the Membership Directory or updates to your profile information at any time by contacting privacy@dreamersdoers.com

  • Information you may provide in the Circle community out of your own initiative, or after being prompted through a comment or other type of "nudge" either by a Dreamers & Doers direct or indirect affiliate, or another member. Such information may include personal and/or professional information shared in an introduction about yourself or other type for information or Circle post or Circle comment, you decide to disclose in the Circle community and Non-Member Facebook Groups.

  • Sensitive Information: we do not intentionally request or require special-category personal data (such as health information, government-issued identification numbers, or financial account details) through our forms, website or community platform. In limited cases, we may request business-related information, such as approximate revenue ranges, for eligibility, categorization, or community segmentation purposes. We do not request bank account numbers, tax documents, or similar financial credentials. Members may choose to share personal experiences or vulnerabilities within the Dreamers & Doers community, including information related to health or financial challenges. Any such sharing is voluntary and initiated by the member.

  • Sponsorship, Diversity & Sensitive Information: in connection with our diversity, inclusion, and sponsorship initiatives, we may ask applicants to voluntarily provide sensitive personal information, such as information relating to racial or ethnic origin, gender identity, disability status, or caregiving status. This information is processed solely for the purpose of assessing eligibility for sponsorship or reduced membership rates. Providing this information is optional. Choosing not to provide it, or selecting “Prefer not to answer,” will not affect your general membership application.

  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us.

  • Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete.

  • Details evidencing transactions you carry out through our Website, including records concerning payment of our Membership Fees.  You may be required to provide financial information to the third party payment processor (Paypal) that we use to process Membership Fees payments. But we do not store credit card information. The third party payment processor may subject you to additional terms and conditions, which are incorporated into these Terms of Use, to the extent that compliance with them is necessary to ensure that Membership Fees are paid, however, the Company is not responsible for and disclaims responsibility for maintaining or ensuring compliance with any such additional terms and conditions or privacy policies of the payment processor.

  • Your search queries on the Website.

You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, "posted") on private or public areas of the Websites, or transmitted to other users of the Websites or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of other users of the Websites with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

 

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies.

 

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Websites, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website.

We do not use these technologies for targeted advertising or remarketing purposes. Our Websites do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

The information we may collect automatically is statistical data and may include personal information, but we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties.  It helps us to improve our Website and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

Opt-out Policy:

  • You may stop or restrict the placement of session cookies, Google’s cookies and third party cookies on your computer by adjusting your web browser preferences.  If you do so, you may still use our website, but this may interfere with some of its functionality.  

  • You may also clear cookies from your computer via your web browser settings.

  • We are not responsible for removing any personal information from the lists of any third party who has previously been provided your information in accordance with this Notice.

We do not collect personal Information automatically, but we may tie this information to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or you provide to us.

 

Third-party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies.

Some content or applications on the Websites are served by third-parties, which may include advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our website. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

  • To present our Website and its contents to you.

  • To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us.

  • To provide you with notices about your Membership, including expiration and renewal notices.

  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.

  • To notify you about changes to our Websites or any products or services we offer or provide through it.

  • To send updates on the community, event reminders, thank you notes, holiday greetings, messages from third parties (including special offers).

  • To allow you to participate in interactive features on our Website.

  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.

  • For any other purpose with your consent.

We may also use your information to contact you about our own and third-parties' goods and services that may be of interest to you.

Communications

We send certain communications that are necessary to provide the Dreamers & Doers membership and related services, such as account notices, renewal and billing information, community updates, and service-related announcements. These communications are considered part of your membership and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an active account.

We may also send optional marketing communications about Dreamers & Doers, including updates about programs, events, or initiatives. You may opt out of these marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or by contacting us at privacy@dreamersdoers.com.

From time to time, we may highlight partners, sponsors, or third-party offerings in our communications. These communications are sent by Dreamers & Doers and do not involve sharing your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes unless you have explicitly consented.

Many community notifications are managed within the Dreamers & Doers platform. Members can adjust their email and in-app notification preferences at any time through their account settings."

Disclosure of Your Information

 

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. 

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To other members (in the form of the Membership Directory mentioned above)

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.

  • To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of Dreamers & Doers, a subsidiary of Trailblazer Ventures, LLC‘s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Dreamers & Doers, a subsidiary of Trailblazer Ventures, LLC about our Website users is among the assets transferred.

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you give us an e-mail address to use the "refer a friend" feature of our Website or to register for an event (either our own or by a third party), we will transmit the contents of that e-mail and your e-mail address to the recipients.

  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

  • With your consent.

We may also disclose your personal information:

  • To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

  • To enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Service Providers
 

We use third-party service providers to support our operations and deliver the Services. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws. Our service providers include:

• Typeform / Google Forms – membership applications and data collection
• Circle – community hosting and member interaction
• Airtable and/or Google Sheets – internal data management
• Wix, Pory, Awesome Table – website hosting and Membership Directory display
• Mailchimp – email communications
• Chargebee, Stripe and PayPal – payment processing
• Google Analytics – website analytics
• Facebook Groups – optional community interaction spaces
• Email and workflow tools (such as Gmail, Missive, Mail Merge, and Zapier) – internal communications, email delivery, and workflow automation

We may update or change service providers from time to time, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties for more information about their data practices.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. To learn how you can manage your Flash cookie settings, visit the Flash player settings page on Adobe's website. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

  • Disclosure of Your Information for Third-Party Advertising. We may occasionally mention a third party, usually a partner or sponsor, in a Dreamers & Doers newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this type of content, you can unsubscribe from our newsletter using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us at privacy@dreamersdoers.com.

  • Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your e-mail address or contact information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties’ products or services in our newsletter, you can opt out by using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by emailing us directly at privacy@dreamersdoers.com. If we have sent you a promotional e-mail, you may send us a return e-mail asking to be omitted from future e-mail distributions. This opt-out does not apply to membership-related emails.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") on the NAI's website.

 

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

 

You can review and change your personal information by emailing us (privacy@dreamersdoers.com). You may also opt out entirely of your information being displayed in the Directory, by emailing privacy@dreamersdoers.com with your request to be removed.

We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If you leave the Dreamers & Doers Circle community or are otherwise removed (by your own choice or not), your past User Contributions (via Circle posts) may remain visible within the community in accordance with the data retention practices described in this Privacy Policy and subject to applicable data protection rights.

Data Retention

We retain personal data in accordance with applicable legal, contractual, and legitimate operational requirements. Personal data may be retained after membership ends for administrative, legal, record-keeping, and community continuity purposes. Where data is no longer actively used, we take steps to limit access and processing.

Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may have the right to request access to or deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable legal exceptions. Dreamers & Doers does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. Notice for Visitors Outside of the United States

 

You should be aware that privacy laws vary by country and have not been harmonized globally. Our Website and servers are located in the United States, and information collected through the Website is processed in the United States.

Any payment transactions are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store credit card information.

We ask you not to share your access to the Dreamers & Doers Circle community, Dreamers & Doers Membership Directory, Dreamers & Doers Member Application or Dreamers & Doers Referral Form with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards and Circle Posts. The information you share in private and public areas may be viewed by any user of the Websites, even if they gained access to the Website, without our knowledge or without applying for Membership.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Websites.
