Get in front of AlphaSights customers to get paid for your expertise

AlphaSights continues to be very excited to tap into Dreamers & Doers members do their export network!

We're thrilled to pass along the (ongoing!) direct access opportunity to get added to AlphaSights' database of experts.

AlphaSights currently does NOT offer the opportunity to otherwise “apply” or self-sign up to their network. But we have done a few calls with them and asked if we can directly provide them with suggested experts. They are very excited about the potential of adding Dreamers & Doers members to their expert roster!!

#DDVetted: Our founder, Gesche, personally done two calls with them and have had a really great experience. She got paid within a few days (in one case within 24h) of the call.
How much you can get paid: “If you've been working for only a handful of years for a particular company or sector, you might set an hourly rate between $100 – $150/hour with AlphaSights. Seasoned members can charge up to $300 – $500 an hour, while major corporate players might ask for thousands of dollars.” — Source
Our experience/pro tips: On Gesche's initial “vetting” call (which took less than 5 mins) they asked her what her rate was. She hadn’t thought about it too much and just said “minimum $300” and they immediately said “we can meet you there” which made her wish she had said something a bit higher :). That being said…her first call was only 30mins and her second call 45mins and in both cases she got paid for the full hour (i.e. $300). [Btw, one thing we love is that you have a streamlined way to donate a portion of your earnings to a good cause, it’s not a must but feels good to earn + do good at the same time.]
Chances of getting interviewed: It totally depends on your areas of expertise and their current needs (AlphaSights does facilitate an astounding 350K+ individual interactions per year!). So while submitting your info does't guarantee securing a project, the form should take less than 5 mins to fill out and may be worth to get on their radar.
To provide you with a tangible example: Gesche's two calls were on something pretty random (why she decided to become a Circle customer…) and while she did have 2x calls with them already on this topic, she has no clue if there will be more, or when. It’ll probably be pretty sporadic, at best, is her guess. But she found it to be a really fun and easy way to make some extra $ if they do have a need for your expertise.
