💪🏽 Who is a strong fit (eligibility)

Stage-wise, Gaingels invests at all stages, but they look for companies that:

Are currently raising (or preparing to raise) an institutional round
Have a lead investor already secured or in motion, whether VC or from a recognized super-angel (Gaingels never leads rounds)
Can demonstrate strength in several of these areas:
- Team expertise or track record
- Market size
- Credible prior/current investors
- Traction
- Reasonable valuation + terms
Have (or are actively building) diverse leadership and inclusive culture
Align with Gaingels’ values around DEI and representation
