In true Dreamers & Doers fashion, we're sharing the behind-the-scenes. Hear it in Gesche's own words in her letter to members announcing this transition.

Christina joined Dreamers & Doers in 2015. Over the last five years, she became a trusted advisor and "CEO whisperer," the person Gesche turned to on the big decisions, from strategy to hiring nearly every member of the team.

Christina is a member of many entrepreneurial communities, but she often credits Dreamers & Doers as the most impactful in her life. So when the opportunity arose to work with Gesche, she jumped at it and poured herself into the team. 

When Gesche approached her about stewarding Dreamers & Doers into its next chapter, she felt an instant, full-body yes.

Everything Christina has done to date has prepared her for this role: building and leading communities for two decades, running her operations firm Magical Teams, and spending years inside Dreamers & Doers as both a member and an operational partner. She's stepping down as CEO of Magical Teams to fully devote herself to Dreamers & Doers.

Here are a few things that make Christina the brilliant, multi-talented, extraordinary human she is. 

• A serial entrepreneur, she started her first business at 16.

• She booked and managed a 200-show national rock tour (not us over here swooning over this video of her performing wowza). 

• She’s traveled all over the country studying Brazilian Zouk dance.

• Long road trips are her jam—she’s driven cross-country dozens of times.

• She lives in Virginia, just outside DC, with her rescue dog, Freya 🐾

We are sooo excited for all of you to benefit from her heart, brilliance, vision, and care as she leads Dreamers & Doers into its next chapter. 💫

What has made this community feel like home for Christina is exactly what she's carrying forward: the thoughtfully curated space of values-aligned women, the exclusive PR opportunities, the real talk and high-touch support, and a community where women are celebrated for showing up as their whole selves. The entire 12-person team will stay on, including Head of Community Taylor Harrington. Gesche’s not going anywhere, either! Her role is evolving, but she'll keep bringing the heart, creative sparkle, and relationships you know her for to Dreamers & Doers. (More on what's next for Gesche below.)

In the near future, you'll mostly hear from those familiar faces while Christina focuses on the team and vision behind the scenes.

And the slow, steady, and intentional approach to growth that's long been a Dreamers & Doers hallmark? That stays too. Protecting the member experience will always be our top priority.

You heard right. 😄 Christina and Gesche went into the acquisition process with the goals of mutual care and setting each other and Dreamers & Doers up for the most success possible (a true win-win-win!). So there were no letters of intent, cutthroat negotiations, or squeezing each other for every last dollar. There WAS a three-night offsite that mixed lawyer calls with handwritten cards… and included a cake that read Dreamy & Magical.

Dreamers & Doers has always believed there are better, more human ways to do business, and how this acquisition unfolded is yet another testament to this.
